Cambodia recorded three new new cases of COVID-19 infection.
The Ministry of Health reported today in 1330 that of the 344 new cases, 5 were foreign cases, and the rest were related to the now infamous February 20 community incident, which has claimed 36 lives today.
The five imported cases included four peanut nationals who arrived in Cambodia via Singapore on April 13.
The other is a Cambodian migrant worker who returned from Thailand on April 7.
Among 339 cases, Phnom Penh recorded 243 cases, including the exchange of Chinese citizens;
Six cases in Sihanoukville;
71 cases of Svay Rieng;
Kangda has eight cases;
Kratie has two cases;
The poker market case;
Five cases of Koh Kong (Ge Gong);
Three Takeo Cases;
29 recalls were also reported.
The total number of recorded cases since January 23, 2021 has jumped to 5,218, with 2,319 successfully treated cases and 2,858 active cases.
Of the total recorded, there were 4676 community cases related to the February 20th incident.
