Another 300,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine from Sinopharm arrive in Mongolia yesterday

In February, the People’s Republic of China delivered 300,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccine to Mongolia as aid, and the two countries also agreed to send another 900,000 doses of vaccine to Mongolia. On April 22 and 23, according to two charter schedules, a total of 600,000 doses of Verocell vaccine were provided. The Minister of Finance said that Mongolia will purchase the Verocell vaccine at a price of US$15 per dose. So far, Mongolia has received 1,760,540 COVID-19 vaccines, including 214,800 doses of AstraZeneca produced through India and COVAX facilities, 1,500,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccine purchased from China through donations and purchases, and 20,000 doses of Sputnik-V and 25,740 doses of Sputnik-V purchased in Russia, Pfizer Vaccine, BioNTech Vaccine, COVAX Center.
