Amal Foundation marks the International Orphan Day in Aden

The Amal Foundation for Orphans and the Poor held a ceremony, in Aden, the Yemeni interim capital, marking the International Orphan Day with the slogan “Together we regain hope”. Amal Musali, the head of the Amal Foundation, stated that despite the Corona pandemic, they shared the children’s joy by making up the tenderness of motherhood that they were deprived of. The celebration took place in cooperation with the Women’s Charitable Society for Fighting Poverty and the Safe Childhood Center. Musali pointed out the importance of humanitarian assistance for children, especially in light of the Houthi militia war on the region which prevents humanitarian and medical aid from reaching the area.
