Specifically, 1,245 new cases were confirmed in Ulaanbaatar, 3 of which were imported from abroad, and 80 cases were found in rural areas, including Zavkhan, Darkhan-Uul, Orkhon, Erdenet, Uvs, Khovd, Selenge, Tuv and Khentii aimags.

As a result, the total number of infections nationwide is now 26,692, and the number of registered cases in the capital is 23,141.

In the past 24 hours, 426 coronavirus patients have been recovered and discharged, bringing the number of recoveries from COVID-19 to 13,722. The casualties are COVID-19 patients aged between 48-90 years old, living in hospitals in Ulaanbaatar City.
