Small ventures in Taiz strengthen the role of women amid the siege and war

Addressing poverty and ladies unemployment in Taiz Governorate, southern Yemen, the Social Affairs and Labor Office has launched Al Hana Ladies Salon on an initiative by businesswomen in the city which is the first of its kind as stated by the Deputy Director-General of Social Affairs and Labor, Mahmoud Al-Bakari, who added that the project aims to provide ladies with jobs through such small projects that hire women and produce income for them and their families. Al-Bakari pointed out that women need support and help during this time to rise and play their role in serving society.
