Tunisia on Monday launched its first satellite, dubbed “Challenge One” onboard the Russian Soyuz-2 spacecraft from a base in Kazakhstan. The Director-General of Telnet holding, Mohamed Frikha illustrated that “Challenge One is a Tunisian manufactured satellite based on the (IOT) the Internet of things protocol that aims at transmitting significant information through linking things on the ground through space. The satellite is distinguished by being the first to use the Communication Protocol “LoRa” designed for terrestrial networks
