Students at Taiz University make a mural out of glass

Ten students from the Department of Fine Arts at the College of Arts, Taiz University, have completed making a colorful mural using remnants of glass on one of the college’s walls. The mural demonstrates peace and the existence of art despite the war and demolition caused by the Houthi militia implying that Taiz is the capital of culture and art. The girls who made the mural pointed out that the painting integrated the traditional colors of Yemen, as well as the Sabri and the Sanani costume, the Yemeni oud, and the Sanani architecture.
