Rice ATM to lessen the effects of Covid pandemic

In an initiative to lessen the effects of covid pandemic, some capable people in Vietnam, have innovated “Rice ATM” that provides rice for free to the poor and unemployed who got affected by the pandemic. The new machine is semi-automated and mixes human and machine procedures, as people wait in line keeping the distance using hand sanitizer first. Then every individual is registered and their ID gets checked to make sure they need support, finally, they step on a button to release the rice in bags. It is stated that companies have installed these machines in public places in other Vietnamese cities.
