Horse racing didn’t escape impacts of covid

Winter horse races are one of the most important traditional sports for the Mongolians where a large number of child jockeys and non-jockeys participate every year for the Lunar New Year. Race and distances range from 20 to 26 km. Children are at high risk for various injuries due to the cold or frost. However, This year, due to the outbreak of Covid-19 and the imposed curfews, Mongolians couldn’t participate and enjoy this traditional race.
