Investors: Bureaucracy disrupts the investment in Jordan

Some Jordanian investors stated that the most serious issues that disrupt attracting investment to Jordan are bureaucracy, administrative corruption, and the absence of economic plans. Following a forum organized by the “Path 7” dialogues initiative of the Free Nation Forum in the capital in Amman, the investors demanded the government to lift the existing investment obstacles and to work on attracting foreign investors to Jordan, especially that these investments are the key means of generating job opportunities and reducing unemployment rates that have recently exacerbated due to the pandemic.
