A Civilian Convoy Accompanied the Russian Forces Crosses the M4 Highway Between Al-Hassaka and Ain Issa Following Weeks of the Road Closure

As Russia and Turkey have agreed to a ceasefire, the first civilian and commercial convoy accompanied the Russian forces crossed the Highway from the town of Ain Issa towards the town of Tal Tamer. Jiwan Mulla Ayoub, the co-chair of the Tal Tamr Council, affiliated to the autonomous self-administration illustrated that the two sides held talks on reopening the M4 Highway to the civil and commercial movement. He added that Russian forces pledged to offer protection for people passing the road heading to their cities.
