Tunisia- An Exceptional Opening for the Carthage Film Festival in light of Coronavirus Pandemic


Under strict precautionary measures to limit the spread of Coronavirus, the Carthage Film Festival, in its thirty-first session was marked by an extraordinary opening. In the City of Culture, where the festival was held, social distancing guidelines were followed. However, many foreign stars were absent due to the coronavirus pandemic. The program of the session included screening 12 long movies and other 12 short films, which were granted the “Golden Tanit” award from the first session in 1966 to the last session in 2019
