Turkey: Experts: Saudi Aid to Earthquake-hit Izmir will Boost Bilateral Relations

Istanbul -Turkey 09/11/2020 Experts indicated that Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz’s decision to deliver immediate humanitarian, medical, and shelter aid to thousands of people affected by an earthquake in the Turkish city of Izmir, is a positive development and of paramount importance in terms of Turkish-Saudi ties. This may lead to détente in ties, paving the way for more strategic collaboration in the future. Experts pointed out that this step may be well-received by the Turkish government.
