Jordan – Over a million voters cast their votes in the Jordanian parliamentary elections

A million and 48 thousand cast their votes in the 19th parliamentary elections after 11 hours of opening polling boxes in different 23 directorates. The voting percentage was 22.6% and committee chairs allowed only the candidates to enter the election hall to close the box. The spokesperson of the Independent Election Commission, Jihad Al-Momani, assured that they received videos that prove the black money and it was submitted to the prosecutor regarding information about people receive money to vote for certain candidates. He also pointed out that any extension for the election will take place if the number of electors increased all around the kingdom, and it won’t exceed 2 hours.
