French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian held the United Kingdom responsible for stalling negotiations on leaving the European Union in its place, describing London’s handling of these negotiations as stubborn and unrealistic.
“The negotiations are not progressing because of London’s intransigent behavior, and let us convey it clearly, which is unrealistic,” Le Drian said, criticizing London before his country’s ambassadors in Europe, in the presence of German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas.
