Saudi-led coalition says it shot down two drones launched by Yemen’s Houthis

The spokesman for the Saudi-led coalition , Turki al-Maliki, said: “The coalition forces today, Monday, from intercepting and shooting down two drones (drones) launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi (terrorist) militia towards civilian objects in the city of Khamis_Mashit.”

Al-Maliki added: “The Houthi militia continues to violate international humanitarian law by launching drones and deliberately targeting civilians, as well as population gatherings that threaten the lives of hundreds of civilians.”

He emphasized that the leadership of the joint coalition forces continues to take and implement deterrent measures against (Houthi militants) to neutralize and destroy these capabilities, in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
