The Egyptian Suez Canal Authority denies that navigation is affected by Corona virus

The Egyptian government denied reports that the navigation traffic in the Suez Canal was affected by the spread of the Corona virus in China, after the spread of many false news on social media, explaining that the navigation traffic in the canal is “completely natural”, and rose by 8.5% during the month of January 2020, to register transit 1,645 ships in both directions, compared to 1516 ships in the same month last year.
