Pope Francis: Reports from Idlib Governorate “Painful”

Pope Francis said on Sunday to tens of thousands of people in St. Peter’s Square that the reports from the Syrian governorate of Idlib are “painful … especially regarding the conditions of women and children and those forced to flee because of the military escalation”, calling for respect for humanitarian law in the governorate that has witnessed more than One million people in two months.
