The Iraqi security forces reopened the Qualified Sanak Bridge to Tahrir Square in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, where the forces began removing concrete blocks and concrete barriers from the bridge.

The area witnessed a heavy security spread and the return of vehicle traffic to it, and protesters tried to prevent the security forces from reopening the Al-Senk Bridge, stressing the continuation of peaceful demonstrations and remaining in the protest areas until their demands were met.

Protesters also vowed to escalate and cut off roads and streets in the capital, Baghdad, noting that the majority of the victims of the demonstrations in Baghdad were killed near Al-Senk.
