A presidential pardon for more than six thousand prisoners in Algeria
On Thursday, Algerian President Abdel Majid Taboun issued a decision to pardon more than six thousand prisoners, following an offer to dialogue with protesters, to release detainees arrested in the demonstrations, to form a committee to amend the constitution, and to meet with opposition figures.
