Khamenei: “our enemy is the USA”

Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, spoke Wednesday morning describing the missile attack on coalition headquarters in Iraq as successful, stressing that “American forces should leave the region” and that the USA is “the enemy of Iran.

This came during a speech by the Iranian guide, carried by Iranian television, after the missile attack launched by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards on American bases in Iraq.

The attack comes in response to the assassination of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Quds Force commander Qasem Soleimani.
