Germany is discussing with Russia and Turkey a diplomatic solution to the Libyan conflict

A German government spokesman said that Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed efforts to find a diplomatic solution to the Libyan conflict during two separate phone calls with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, whose country plans to send troops to Libya.
