Turkey is talking to Russia about Kurdish units in northeastern Syria

Turkey is discussing with Russia how to deal with the continued presence of Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) fighters in areas covered by a deal between the two countries, Ankara’s defense minister said on Thursday after Ankara halted its military operation against the YPG last month after an agreement with Moscow.
