Tunisia’s foreign exchange reserves rise to $ 6.6 billion, supported by a recovery in tourism

Tunisia’s foreign exchange reserves increased to the equivalent of 106 days of imports compared to just 77 days a year ago, supported by a strong recovery in the tourism sector, official data showed on Friday.

Tunisia’s foreign exchange reserves stood at 18.9 billion dinars ($ 6.63 billion), up from 12.5 billion dinars at this time last year, the central bank said.
