In response to the general strike, banks and schools are closed in Lebanon

Hundreds of Lebanese protested Tuesday as banks and schools closed their doors to public institutions to prevent their employees from entering, in response to a general strike called in their unprecedented popular movement and to protest the stalling of authorities that have not acted since the government resigned two weeks ago.
