Erdogan and Putin discuss the situation in northeast Syria  

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin discussed the Turkish military operation in Syria by telephone, according to the Turkish presidency. this comes after Erdogan announcement that his country aims to expel the Kurdish-led forces from the border area and establish a “safe area” to resettle Syrian refugees.
