Demonstrations in downtown Beirut to commemorate independence

Tens of thousands of Lebanese protesters rallied in Martyrs Square in central Beirut on Friday to commemorate independence with fresh protests against the ruling persons whom they accuse of corruption and plunging the country into a deep crisis, waving Lebanese flags while many said they felt like celebrating independence for the first time.
